The RS4DB defines a new standard for performance and lightness of a tubeless disc brake wheelset, which weighs in at just 1340g. Incredibly aerodynamic and lighter than ever before, these wheels will allow you to sore through the road with ease.

The wheels feature a 38mm rim profile and a 26mm width (19mm internal) designed to be fast and light on any course. The full carbon rim features differentiated distribution of the carbon layup, with greater reinforcement around the nipples and reduced thickness in between. This special internal wave pattern construction not only reduces weight but greatly increases rolling speed and reduced inertia. The internal nipples of the RS4DB improve aerodynamics, with the self-locking ABS system preventing the loosening of the nipples and spokes over time, for reduced maintenance.

The special RS hubs have been completely reengineered from the previous SL generation. At only 307g for the pair, they offer an 80g saving compared to the SL version. They are also 20% smaller than the previous generation with flanges designed to reduce drag on both the front and rear hub. The hubs are also machined with a Rifling design which improves aerodynamics and amplifies the downforce effect of airflow against the hub, giving more stability at higher speeds.

The rear hub features a 2 ratchet system for the freehub engagement. A smaller ratchet is located in the freehub body while the larger ratchet is located inside the hub flange. This system is not only 16% lighter than a standard pawl system, but it is also maintenance free and offers lightning-fast engagement, for optimum power transfer from the pedals.
