The Fulcrum Sharq 42 Disc Brake Wheelset is engineered to elevate ride feel across mixed terrain routes, from smooth tarmac to demanding gravel roads. Developed through extensive research, testing and in-house manufacturing, Sharq represents Fulcrum’s vision of the ultimate all-road carbon wheelset.

Designed for Mixed Terrain Performance

The Sharq’s 25mm internal rim width strikes the perfect balance for modern riding, optimised for road tyres from 30mm while also providing excellent support for wider gravel tyres up to 76mm. This improves rolling efficiency, grip and comfort across changing surfaces.

The rim features Fulcrum’s mini-hook design and a non-drilled rim bed, making it tubeless-native without rim tape and fully compatible with inner tubes.

Aerodynamic & Responsive Carbon Design

Built from Fulcrum’s high-performance FF100 full carbon, the Sharq uses a variable rim height of 42–47mm to optimise airflow and stability. Combined with A3RO straight-pull spokes, it delivers excellent stiffness, fast acceleration and confident handling in crosswinds.

Precision Hubs & Bearings

Sharq wheels feature durable aluminium hubs with Fulcrum’s renowned USB ceramic bearings and adjustable cup-and-cone system. The result is exceptionally smooth rolling, long service life and easy maintenance.

The Centre Lock disc interface ensures reliable braking performance in all conditions.
