The new Mavic E-Speedcity celebrates Mavic's comeback into the world of commuter bikes after designing fenders in the early days of the company. We've put 130 years of experience at the highest level of cycling to design the right wheel for your daily commutes.

The wheels are built strong and durable. The 32 solid j-bend spokes coupled with high flange hubs enable a maximum load capacity of 180kg (25% higher than the usual Mavic Road wheels) to take into consideration the extra weight and loads involved by daily commutes.

Our e-mtb proven freewheel mechanism with automatic bearing preload perfectly handles the most powerful e-bike motors (up to 120Nm motor torque). Their smoothness saves effort from both the motor and the rider.

Our years of experience in wheel building guarantees a reliable build over long mileage, so you don't lose any time in the workshop.

Because we all care about our environment and aim at reducing our carbon footprint, the aluminium alloy used to produce the rims is made of 90% recycled aluminium. Also, the wheels are hand built in Europe, with components 100% sourced from Europe.

This 700 version is 25mm wide and can be used with tyres up to 64mm.

Last but not least, we care about your safety and that of your bikes. The wheels are discreet but have black reflective stickers that glow at night to keep you visible in the traffic.

The wheels are eligible to our Mavic Care program, which includes a free 3rd year of warranty, a crash replacement policy and the availability of spare parts for over 5 years.

• Instant Drive 360 freewheel technology: The new Instant Drive 360 freewheel system is super light and efficient. A large contactless rubber seal provides low friction, while a wide array of end caps makes it super versatile.

• UST tubeless technology: Traction and control. Universal Standard for Tubeless. Ready to ride tubeless system. The UST concept improves traction, control and comfort whilst reducing inertia and flats.

• QRM Auto bearing preload technology: The cartridge bearings are of course double sealed with C3 internal clearance. Their preload is automatically adjusted to guarantee a perfect spin with no play in the long run.
