With a tensile strength of over 1300kg/f, the Clarks Half Link Chain has been designed around the requirements of single speed usage. The benefit of consistent tension and better sprocket contact than a 'standard' chain, half link chains provide the single speed user with a smoother ride and offer superior strength.

Half link chains allow a more precise adjustment of chain length. The chain can be reduced in length by half a link at a time as opposed to a full link which means rear wheel placement can be fine-tuned with a much greater degree of accuracy.
