The Continental Race 28 inner tube with it's high quality butyl construction is available in 3 valve lengths: 42mm, 60mm and 80mm to suit different rim depths. Compatible with 18-25mm road bike tyres the Race 28 tube offers reliable and smooth performance.

What valve length do I need?

This will be dependent on the depth of the rim profile. Deeper rims will require a longer valve length. You need a valve that is long enough to pass through the rim and still have enough showing to affix a pump for inflation. Valves are available in 42mm, 60mm and 80mm lengths. It's generally recommended that the valve length is at least 15mm longer than the depth of your rim, for example if your rim is 45mm deep you will need an inner tube with a valve length of at least 60mm (45mm+15mm).
