Boardman MTR 8.9 Mountain Bike
The Boardman MTR 8.9 Mountain Bike builds on the capabilities of the PRO FS but with new tube profiles and tweaked geometry (including a slacker head angle) we think we’ve made an even better trail bike. The dropper ready, thru axle frame is fitted with the durable Revelation RC forks and the Deluxe RC Shock giving you complete adjustability for variations in terrain and condition. Sram Level T brakes and Vittoria Morsa, tubeless ready tyres take on the job of keeping you on the trails and Sram NX 11 Speed gears keep shifting hassle free as you focus on the next jump or berm. The Boardman MTR 8.9 Mountain Bike is designed to take on the worst that British trails can throw at you.

Boardman MTR 8.9 Mountain Bike is rated out of 5 by 5.Rated 4 out of 5 by GMoney from Not as good as FSPro This may have a snazzy new frame but every other component is a massive step down from the outgoing FSPro. Level instead of Guide, NX instead of GX and Rev instead of Pike. And the checky buggers want a hundred quid more for it. If you can still find an FS Pro buy it instead, especially if you can get the version with FSA Comet cranks.Date published: 2018-09-10Rated 3 out of 5 by Ozzyb10 from It's basically a downgraded fs pro with a curved top tube I have the 2016 fs pro, and my brother has just bought this one when they launched, It does look nice and rides well. However we both agree that If you haven't ridden the fs pro, you will be over the moon. However if you have ridden the vs pro, this 8.9 feels like a huge downgrade. The fork, rear shock, brakes drivetrain and wheels have all been downgraded., compared to the pro. The bike feels heavier and sluggish in comparison and just doesnt ride as effortlessly as the pro fs. The brakes have no where near the same feel or bite as the guides either. It is a great bike, it's just no where near the bargain the fs pro was and still is. I recommend you wait until it is in a sale.Date published: 2018-08-14Rated 5 out of 5 by boredkenny from JUST SIMPLY STUNNING I bought this bike for better components SRAM finishing and the forks. However when I saw it I had to have I, the colour in pics doesn't do it justice, its a burnt red with black finishing looks incredible, its one of the best bikes I have ever seen. Then I rode it. . OMG this bike rides of anything like its not there, it descends like a DH bike and climbs like its made of paper. Its incredible, everyone who has a shot comes back with lock jaw. No one else is to buy this bike.......its mine I tell you.. Get off its mine. Just however they made this bike for this price is incredible. The brakes are powerful enough and Revelation forks is brilliant so solid but adjustable. Well done Boardman..Date published: 2018-06-12Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Fantastic Bike The performance and quality of the new model of the Boardman is truly astonishing. WOW!Date published: 2018-04-19Rated 5 out of 5 by omar1 from great bike loving the new design from the old MTB PRO Collect My one today bike rides very nice and gears works well only bad points with this bike is the brakes its a down grade from the old MTB Pro the new bike has sram level T not the Sram Guide only down but great bikeDate published: 2018-04-10
