Shotgun Pro EVO 2-in-1 Child Bike Seat

The Pro Evo has been designed for your child to ride with you while you cruise mountain bike trails from the age of 9 months – 5 years. The bike seat starts as a harnessed seat for toddlers, starting at 9 – 25kg / 9 – 24, before transforming into the Pro seat for older kids between 12 – 25kg, up to 5 years. Installing the seat is easy, as it features a 15-second quick-release system and two headset spacers included so you can switch between different mountain bikes.

The Pro EVO is an adaptable seat, fitting both regular and electric mountain bikes with wide down tubes. The headset and seat post mounting ensures zero friction or contact with the bike frame. The seat is fully adjustable in both position and angle, so it maximises cockpit space, improves turning on the bike, and prevents interference with your fork or frame to keep you and your little one safe.

Safety is at the heart of this seat design, featuring a childproof Fidlock® buckle, 5-point harness, and sternum strap in the harnessed mode, with both setups meeting the required safety standards for peace of mind on every ride.

Specification:

  • Harnessed Seat: 9–15 kg (≈9 months–2 years). Child must support own head; consult a paediatrician for under 1 year.
  • Pro Seat: 12–27 kg (≈2–5 years). Child must sit unaided, follow instructions, and stay awake for the ride.
  • Fits most modern regular & e-MTBs with a 1 1/8” steerer and 10mm clearance under the stem.
  • Adaptors available for integrated cable or proprietary headsets (e.g., Trek Knock Block).
  • Not recommended for bikes without front suspension (road, cruiser, etc.).
  • Shotgun Pro handlebars fit 31.8–35mm bars and stems up to 60mm wide.
  • Meets EN 14344 & ASTM F3641 standards for front-mounted child seats.
  • Independently inspected by TÜV.
