The name E-Deemax has become a reference for E-Bike riders. This new E-Deemax lives up to its name with many of the same features and technologies as higher range model, but at a far more attainable price.

A brand-new rim profile has been engineered for this new version. Now featuring a wider central channel, installing even the strongest and most rigid tyres has never been so easy.

Our exclusive Pinch Flat Protection technology (PFP) offers a wider contact surface at the top of sidewall and significantly reduces the risk of tyre cuts and punctures. Thanks to PFP, the tyre can resist up to 20% harder impact before being cut.

The rim is welded for added reliability and features a 30mm internal width with a Tubeless Ready compatibility to allow you to run lower tyre pressure for better traction and control.

As all our E-Deemax wheelsets, this new option is lab and field validated for a max total weight of 180Kg.

This new generation of E-Deemax is laced on our brand-new heavy-duty Infinity 28 hub. Infinity means that only 1 spoke length is required for both the front and rear wheel, left and right side, and replacing a spoke can be made without removing the disc or the cassette. The reinforced spokes should protect against damages, but in any case, each wheel is delivered with 2 spare spokes.

Our Instant Drive 360 freewheel with a double ratchet system equips the rear hub and provides fast engagement and top-level reliability.

  • Maxtal aluminium alloy – Light and strong. Exclusive to Mavic, this specific aluminium alloy offers a higher strength to weight ratio than conventional 6106 alloy.
  • Instant Drive 360 freewheel technology – The new Instant Drive 360 freewheel system is super light and efficient. A large contactless rubber seal provides low friction, while a wide array of end caps makes it super versatile.
  • UST tubeless technology – Traction and control. Universal Standard for Tubeless. Ready to ride tubeless system. The UST concept improves traction, control and comfort whilst reducing inertia and flats.
  • Pinch Flat Protection sidewall – 20% less risk of punctures with PFP. An e-bike specific innovation to significantly reduce the risk of tyre cuts and punctures.
  • SUP welding technology – Factory Welded Process, stronger and smoother joint. After bending, the rim joint is arc welded. The welded seam is then milled for a smooth finish.
  • Infinity hub design – Efficient power transfer thanks to optimised non-contact spoke lacing (no noise under load) and tension distribution. The length of the spokes at the front and rear is identical. Maintenance is easy thanks to a tool-free solution.
  • QRM Auto bearing preload technology – The cartridge bearings are of course double sealed with C3 internal clearance. Their preload is automatically adjusted to guarantee a perfect spin with no play in the long run.
