The Halfords Adjustable stem has been designed for fine tuning the handlebar position on the bike. The angle adjustment range of -30-degrees to +40-degrees allows riders to raise the height of the handlebars for a more upright riding position and closer reach, bringing the handlebar within a more comfortable range. Alternatively, the stem can be tilted downwards for a lower, more performance-oriented position.

*When installing the stem, it's important to check the length of the cables. If the stem is used to raise the handlebar height, the original cable lengths may not be sufficient to reach the higher handlebar height safely. If cables are too short or stretched it can compromise braking and gear changes. Check brakes and gears are operating correctly after installation before riding.
