The Terra Speed is the fast model in the Continental Gravel series with a low-profile tread design, an ideal option if your cycling routes involve jumping between the road and light off-road terrain. The Terra Speed marries Continental's premium Black Chili rubber compound with ProTection technology to provide the right balance of speed, reliability, and comfort.

Black Chili Compound:

With our unique tread compound, which is produced only in Germany, we have revolutionised the sport of cycling. With the legendary Black Chili compound, we have answered the eternal question of the best balance of grip and rolling resistance for cycling. The latest polymers as well as specially developed carbon black particles and filler materials guarantee unique performance, be it on a road, gravel, or a mountain bike, for time trialling or downhill.

ProTection:

ProTection Technology (transferred to the Race/Road segment). The ProTection-Technology gives our tyres their perfect mix of fast rolling, grip, and puncture protection. Adheres well to the terrain, even on the toughest trails and features very good damping characteristics.

Tubeless Ready:

Our carcass-construction is robust and impervious against damage and penetration from foreign objects. The result: versatile, low weight and an attractive design. In addition, tyres made using this technology can also be used as Tubeless or with an inner tube.

Suitable for E-Bikes:

For our E-Bike tire we fall back on over 100 years' experience with moped and motorcycle tires. All of our city/trekking tyres are rated to a standard speed of at least 25 km/h. Those tyres marked e50 are also certified for S-Pedelecs. With their high quality structure, puncture protection is high and the rolling resistance is low offering protection from premature wear brought about by the additional driving force.
