The Hammerite Direct to Rust Metal Paint Hammered Red provides a durable, corrosion-resistant decorative coating for ferrous and non-ferrous metals, certain plastics and wood.

It provides a hammered effect finish which is smooth, sheds water well and will retain its sheen for years. Perfect for metal doors, hinges, garden furniture, gates and railings.

Hammerite paint is designed to be applied directly onto rusty metal with minimal surface preparation. Simply remove any loose rust with a wire brush or coarse sandpaper, clean the surface with brush cleaner and thinners and allow time to dry. Then apply Hammerite paint. No primer or undercoat needed.
