The inner tread is designed to give excellent balance between high speed driving and traction due to its dual-compound tread technology. Hard handling performance and high speed cornering are managed by massive tread blocks on the shoulder and the central continuous rib. To improve resistance to high thermo-mechanical stress, Pirelli have used motorsport derived materials.
