Clearpay lends you a fixed amount of credit so you can pay for your purchase over 4 instalments, due every 2 weeks. Ensure you can make repayments on time. You must be 18+ and a permanent UK resident (excl Channel Islands). Clearpay charges a £6 late fee for each late instalment and a further £6 if it's still unpaid 7 days later. Late fees are capped at £6 for orders under £24 and the lower of £24 or 25% of the order value for orders over £24. Missed payments may affect your ability to use Clearpay in the future and your details may be passed onto a debt collection agency working on Clearpay's behalf. A Number Plate Appointment is a one-to-one consultation with a trained Halfords colleague, designed to help you build your perfect personalised number plate, or simply replace any damaged plates. From choosing the right style to ensuring full legal compliance, we make the process simple, clear, and hassle-free.

What do I need to bring with me?

On the day of your booking, please ensure that you bring the right documents with you to your local store to get your new plates. You must provide current proof of identity and proof of entitlement (V5). The number plate(s) cannot be made until we have verified your documents in store.

Speak with one of our experts in-store, explore your options, and create your new plate(s)

Once all documents are verified and you are happy with the plate(s), our colleagues will create them in-store and even fit them if you would like. You can then drive away with a number plate that’s perfectly tailored to you.
