<span itemprop="description">On my second ride after fitting these tyres my bike slid from under me going downhill on a wet country lane.
I will replace them forthwith. Don't buy them.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I can't edit my earlier review, so here's an addition. I believe these tyres are wrongly described, being around 23c rather than 28c. However, on raising this with Halfords I received a rapid response; they will be raising this internally, and my local shop cheerfully refunded both the tyres I purchased - so well done York Halfords!</span>

<span itemprop="description">These tyres are described as 700 x 28c, but appear to be very much narrower than this. I have just measured a fitted, inflated tyre at 23-24mm. They would be better described as 23c. That’s fine if you want a narrower tyre, but I didn’t! I can’t really comment on performance yet.</span>
