The latest version of the Marathon Mondial improves Schwalbe's top specification expedition tyre with a new dynamic tread pattern which, in combination with the durable Double Defence V-Guard construction, means the Mondial, as its name suggests, will take you around the world.

The V-Guard provides a high level of puncture protection with minimal additional weight, whilst the folding bead core saves further weight. Being a folding tyre means that it is possible to carry one or two spare tyres on long touring expeditions across multiple countries.

With the tread pattern suited to on and off-road riding and with a value standard version available, the new Mondial can not only take you around the world but on nearer to home expeditions, or even your bikepacking trip or commute to work.

All versions feature a fast-rolling durable rubber compound made from Fair Trade rubber and recycled carbon black, reflective sidewall stripes for improved visibility at night and are all suitable for e-bikes. Only for use with an inner tube.

V-Guard
Extremely lightweight and cut resistant high-tech fabric. This high-tech fabric ensures a high level of puncture protection for Race- and Tour- tyres.

E-50
E-Bike tyres with European ECE-R75 approval. Our recommendation for fast E-Bikes - S-Pedelecs with type approval, insurance, and motor assist over 25 km/h – for which a special tyre approval is necessary.
