Built using Shimano’s renowned HOLLOWTECH II technology and featuring a burlier 24mm steel spindle, this crankset is designed to absorb big hits, deliver optimal power transfer, and keep weight to a minimum—making it the ideal choice for aggressive enduro MTB riding.

Available in multiple crank lengths (160mm to 175mm), and compatible with Shimano’s SM-CRM96 direct-mount chainrings, the FC-M9220 lets you tailor your drivetrain setup to your riding style and terrain—whether you're grinding up alpine climbs or hammering through rock-strewn descents.

Precision Gearing for Enduro Trails
Pair the FC-M9220 with the SM-CRM96 chainring (sold separately), offered in 2-tooth increments, allowing you to fine-tune your gear ratios for climbing efficiency, smoother cadence, and control on both flowy and technical trails.
