Apollo Cafe Womens Hybrid Bike 2017 - 16", 19" Frames is rated out of 5 by 24.Rated 1 out of 5 by CY32 from Puncture after puncture too! When I bought this bike there weren't many reviews, but like many others I also had multiple punctures. After using a huge amount of rim tape, my local bike shop managed to get me through the summer. It's a shame, as I thought I was buying something that was uninspired, but reliable. Turns out to uninspired and unreliable! What a disappointment.Date published: 2018-04-01Rated 1 out of 5 by DavinaJean from What a disappointment. Chose the bike as it had mud guards only 6 gears (less to go wrong) and step through. Well what a mistake it is slow, takes me 20mins instead of 15 to get to work, needs constant oiling to keep it going. Has already had a new rear wheel as bearings were worn out, has gone rusty in 4 places and I only purchased it in January this year. The gears are not smooth and the chain has come off. Would never buy another bike from Halfords, back to Wilco next time.Date published: 2018-03-25Rated 5 out of 5 by Ga18 from This bike is exactly what I was looking for The bike is very comfortable and perfect for cycling to work. I like that this bike has less gears as I wanted a more simplified bike. I love the colour of the bike and wanted the step over style.Date published: 2018-02-16Rated 5 out of 5 by Julie78 from Nice stylish cycle The cycle is lightweight and comfortable, easy to assembleDate published: 2018-02-16Rated 1 out of 5 by DN11 from This is the worst bike I've ever had too! I also had a puncture the very first day I rode the bike to work (the green slime seemed to be an expensive gimick). The brake pads have worn out and the mudguard is about to fall off and I only bought the bike this summer. The bike is heavy, cumbersome to handle and slow. Very disappointing and I also won't be shopping in Halfords again.Date published: 2017-10-23Rated 1 out of 5 by AB93 from The worst bike I have ever owned Wish I had looked at the reviews before buying. Puncture after puncture. Firstly it was badly put together in the shop and had a puncture on the very first day. Since then have had several more, at first I thought it was just bad luck but after looking at the reviews I see it is actually a faulty bike. Went in to a Halfords shop and the assistant was absolutely clueless, and said that because I've had it a few months they can't return even if it's faulty. Not only that but the chain guard is broken and parts of the bike are already starting to wear and rust. Now after only a few months I am left with a bike which I can't sell or even donate as it is such a heap of trash. I won't be shopping in Halfords again, that is for sure.Date published: 2017-08-19Rated 1 out of 5 by foreverpunctured from Awful bike Please do not buy this bike. I concur with all the other reviews. It is clunky, heavy and tank-like to ride. It punctures and punctures and punctures. It has a design fault. Numerous other faults which go to make this bike unbearably bad. Don't waste your money on this awful bike.Date published: 2017-08-04Rated 1 out of 5 by SunflowerHill from Appalling Bike - **HEAD OFFICE** this should not be on the market Before we even brought it home the staff had to replace an inner tube for a puncture. Got it home. Sat on it & ANOTHER PUNCTURE. Took it back to shop to be have inner tube replaced at which point we were told it's the design of the spokes that go through the wheel, they then put tape around the inside of the wheel to stop the spokes hitting the tyre. Brought it home & tooknit round the block only to get back & 2 minutes later ANOTHER puncture. Took it back to the shop AGAIN, by which time the other tyre had gone down. That's 4 punctures in ~2 hours & the bike was only used for 10 minutes. Demanded money back & had to pick a different bike. Appalling design. This should be taken off sale. Having read reviews AFTER taking the bike back, this is not the first time people have experienced this puncture problem. Wish I'd have read reviews first, I'd have avoided all the hassle.Date published: 2017-07-02
