Rated 1 out of 5 by from Davids Fastglas Glass Fibre Tissue RUBBISH I read the other reviews, so was wary. But they were correct. I only needed a strip 2cm wide by 10cm long to do a minor repair inside a model boat. I may as well have used a plank of wood, which would have moulded to the gentle curve. It is useless for anything except totally flat surfaces it cannot be shaped at all. Avoid it as it will not do the job.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Davids Fastglas Glass Fibre Tissue I have used Fastglas Glass Fibre Tissue about 9 years ago and I didn't have any problems with it. But the new stuff is a lot more thicker and it does not go to the shape you want as one of the review said. I just thought that they were not applying it right but they most of Co's I had a right night mare with it. In the end I using Fastglas Glass Fibre Mat. Bit more messer but a lot more easy to work with

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Useless This material is too thick and as stiff as a board. It will not adhere to the gentlest of curves. It might be OK if the surface you're trying to create is absolutely flat but otherwise it is a complete waste of money. It is NOT a tissue.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from difficult to work with I bought this as I hoped it would be easier and less messy than the mat. It is less messy in that you don't get fibres shedding as you cut it. I have found though, that when you apply the resin it takes quite a bit to wet it through and a fair amount will run off. As another reviewer stated, it wants to revert to its flat shape and will not conform to the shape of your project. This can be made slightly easier by scrunching it up into a ball and cause it to crease up. It doesn't solve the problem, particularly on awkward shapes, but it helps. Also it is very thin, you would need to build up many layers if you needed something sturdy. In future I will stick to using the glas mat, it may be a bit messy in the prep but it is much easier to apply to the job and much more solid with less layers.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from It reminds me of dried pasta A complete waste of time and money. No matter how you apply the resin, or length of time you leave it to start hardening, this stuff refuses to shape to the contours of your car. As it dried it simply goes back to the flat original shape. Using it in smaller squares does not help - it just looks like dried pasta.
