How to service a hybrid car
Here at Halfords, we offer hybrid car servicing across all of our Halfords autocentres in the UK. Our friendly hybrid car specialists have been expertly trained in hybrid servicing, ensuring your car is kept in prime condition and remains safe and legal to drive.
What is included in a hybrid car service?
We offer three levels of hybrid car services for all makes and models - no matter what their condition.
Interim service
Our interim service is recommended every 6 months for high mileage car users, or when an additional check is required between annual services. The 54-point service includes an oil filter and change, brake, steering and suspension checks and replacing essential fluids. When booked together, you can save up to £34.85 on your interim service and MOT, helping to make servicing your car a little more affordable.
Full car service
Our full car service is recommended every 12 months and can be booked alongside your MOT at a discounted price to help you keep your car maintenance costs down. This comprehensive annual service includes 81 checks, as well as topping up all essential fluids and changing the air filter. Additionally, if we identify any major signs of wear and tear, we will consult you before replacing them using the highest quality parts to ensure your car remains safe and reliable to drive.
Major service
A major service is recommended every 24 months to ensure every part of your car is running as it should be. During a comprehensive hybrid service, our motor experts will replace your cabin filter and hydraulic fluid, as well as carrying out all other areas of essential maintenance as covered in full and interim services, in addition to checking your hybrid car battery, charging port and cables, brake binding and inverter coolant to help you to reduce the risk of any major, costly issues occurring later down the line. As with our interim and full services, if you book your major hybrid service with an MOT, you can save up to £34.85 on the individual product price.
