Which Cycle Carrier for BMX Bike?

To place a BMX onto a cycle carrier, our suppliers say it's fine to put the one arm through the frame where down tube and crossbar meet below the stem, and the second arm through the rear wheel, preferably holding onto the rear stay. The frame will be more than strong enough to hold the weight of the bike. Ideally, it should be mounted with the front of the bike on the side closest to the kerb so that the bike doesn't poke out from the back of the vehicle into oncoming traffic. Provided the bikes have been securely fastened with the straps and mounted on the foam cushions, the bikes won't move and will be perfectly safe to carry like this.
