Bikehut MTB Bike Tyre Liners is rated out of 5 by 16.Rated 1 out of 5 by James231 from Mtb Tyre liners I have had this product for around a month now and I go riding most weekends. In a month I have had 5 punctures they are a complete waste of time and are a waste of money. DON'T BUY THEM!!!!Date published: 2017-02-03Rated 4 out of 5 by jaysgoodlife from Seems fine so far I have only had this product for a short while and not been for long rides. I bought it because the inner tube and tyre need protection and the liner is the best idea. It's sufficient for 1 tyre and some overlap and so should be very helpful for the everyday roads we have in EnglandDate published: 2016-10-07Rated 4 out of 5 by NeoMaxi from So Far So Good! I decided to get these for my mountain bike as the off-roading I was doing was leaving me with 2 or 3 puncture at a time. I have also not been impressed with Halfords 'value' inner tubes!. However, with these tyre liners I have been puncture free for the last month and am enjoying off-roading again.Date published: 2016-09-27Rated 2 out of 5 by Anonymous from i still got a puncture a day later But on the plus side I did get my tyres filled with slime and this saved me. For the cost you may as well fit the kevlar strip as added protection though.Date published: 2016-09-22Rated 1 out of 5 by Northumbria from Not for off road I fitted two of these to new Schwalbe Racing Ralph Tyres.. They were fitted carefully and the ends rounded and smoothed. The tyres had a reasonable MTB pressure of 45PSI. After 15 miles of trail riding I had a rear puncture. On checking the tyre it was full of a fine rubber powder, also the tube had rub marks from the liner at the join and it was punctured on the join. The liner is stiffer than the tyre so on rough terrain it does not flex with the tyre and the edges and join rub away at the inside of the tyre and also the tube. It is only a matter of time before a puncture. The front tyre which is not flexing so much was OK. (after 15mls) The success of the liners will be down to the terrain and the tyre pressure. A high tyre pressure on smooth roads may be OK but a reasonable MTB pressure off road will be no good at all. I threw mine in the nearest bin.Date published: 2015-09-16Rated 4 out of 5 by me73 from tyre liners great product, saved a lot of punctures. easy to fit, has to be cut to size and rounded off but easy enough to do with scissors and a bit of sand paper to smooth down the edges . all in all a good product, very happy with itDate published: 2015-06-12Rated 5 out of 5 by GlynY from Fewer punctures - that's got to be good! This liner is good quality and should go a long way to reducing the chance of a puncture while on a trail. Just having one less would make it worth it - anything that keeps me from doing a repair in the middle of nowhere works for me!Date published: 2015-04-28Rated 4 out of 5 by Geeee from Reassuring The product provides the extra thickness needed for modern insubstantial tyres and gives confidence against punctures.( I used a red hot knife to feather the ends after cutting to length)Date published: 2015-01-20
