A strong chain designed specifically for E-Bikdes and to be able to work efficiently under the stress and loads that E-bikes put on the drivetrain. EcoProteQ treatment doubles the rust resistance compared to the RustBuster treatment.

High quality materials and an extremely precise production technology make the narrow chain e1 EPT extremely durable and offer a very long life cycle.

KMC‘s non-toxic, environmentally friendly EcoProTeQ technology (EPT) protects chains against corrosion (only after 650 hours of salt spray test do the first traces of rust develop) for twice as long as conventional rust protection and thus sets new standards. Each component of every chain link is treated separately with EPT. This means a 100% coating that offers the lowest possible attack by water, salt and air humidity.
Another characteristic of EPT: The very smooth surface gives chains excellent running qualities. Dirt build-up is minimized in the long term, which means that chain maintenance is significantly relieved.
