Voodoo Aizan 29er Mountain Bike - 16", 18", 20" Frames is rated out of 5 by 6.Rated 5 out of 5 by Mttbber from Great 29er First 29er ... comfortable, inspires confidence off road. Wide bars are awesome. Quality forks with adjustment and stanchions have an antirust coating. Modern low gearing that works well and hydraulic disc brakes that work perfectly.Date published: 2018-09-17Rated 5 out of 5 by Cyclista from Superb bike for the money I can't fault this bike at all. Had it now for 5 months and ridden nearly every day, even in the rain. I had read some of the reviews and can't believe that people are finding fault with this!! Although, one bad review was a bent seat post due to a crash (well, duh) and another was squealing brakes :):):) (Seriously?? Learn some bike maintenance! You have to bed in disc brakes and then some very basic alignment). Great value bike, don't hesitate to buy it!Date published: 2018-05-13Rated 2 out of 5 by SRRS from A few niggles The bike comes supplied with Kenda road tyres that are useless for anything trickier than smooth tarmac, so you'll want to exchange these before you leave the shop. Otherwise, there is only one major issue: the seat post is too long for the frame, and fouls on the kink in the seat tube, meaning that unless you want to pay an extra £120+ for a dropper post, the seat is permanently set too high for proper off-road use. I had had it in mind to solve this problem by simply hacksawing off a couple of inches from the bottom of the post, but before I got around to it, I took the bike to a trail park and had a relatively minor fall during which the saddle took an impact. This impact on the saddle forced the seat post down into the kink of the frame, where, because it has buckled, it is now effectively permanently 'locked'. It is now too low to be ridden sitting down and is also a few degrees off-center, with no way to adjust it. Maybe there is some way to unbend the seat post such that it can be removed from the bike, but currently there is a good chance that my 8 week old bike is a write-off due to this design fault. My advice to anyone thinking of buying this bike would be to throw the factory seat post in the bin and replace it with a shorter one before riding, to save yourself the issues that I've had. If you are planning only to ride the bike on-road, you can ignore all of the above. Apart from low gearing, high weight, tyre noise and high rolling resistance, this is fine as a commuter bike.Date published: 2018-05-08Rated 1 out of 5 by Jonathan678 from Do not buy this bike, nothing but trouble Had the bike 4 months, the bike brakes were squeaking from day 1, took the bike back to Halfords 4 times in the next month before they gave me a new one. Got the new one and has done exactly the same thing and ive had to take the bike back another 6 times, I am not going through getting a refund for this bike.
