Wiggins Rouen Junior Road Bike - 650c Wheel is rated out of 5 by 13.Rated 5 out of 5 by Playuke123456 from Wiggins Rouen 700c wheels Bought this bike as I am small lady, and a lot of small ladies bike are still too big for me, a well made good looking bike, this is my first road bike, staff were very helpfull and knowledgeable .Also they fitted a set of mudgards , I think I will change the handlebar tape when it's starts to look grubby also the TOE straps will have to goDate published: 2018-05-29Rated 5 out of 5 by Poolmandan from Wonderful bike This is my sons first road bike and I had no idea how he would get on with it. I researched online and in the end the Wiggins was the best value for money I could find. Halfords delivery was incredibly quick I think it took less than 24 hours to arrive. Building the bike was simple and I haven't built a bike before! The quality of this bike construction is obvious from the moment you see it. The welds are lovely and smooth and there is so many lovely details with the paintwork that you just don't see in the pictures online. Bike looks stunning and my 9 year old son was over the moon. I thought about getting the bigger size but seeing him on it that would never have worked ! I was worried whether he would be able to cope with the gears now available but he was fine . Shifting the rear and front derailleur is easy and positive. The pedals with the toe clips work well but I think I will swap these out for some clip in pedals as he seems ready! My only slight niggle is the tyre size at 650 is very hard to find spares and when I did was very expensive to get a spare tyre for him but this is a minor point. I am so happy I think this is the perfect bike for him for the next few years . Performance wise he is flying now the difference on the flat and downhills is amazing!Date published: 2018-04-15Rated 5 out of 5 by jamieG1 from Wiggins bike I got this for my son for christmas he loves it.Its amazing quality and great components such as shinamano gears. we has a lot of hills round us and with such low gears he can get up them with ease.Date published: 2018-01-01Rated 5 out of 5 by Mike00 from Great Road Bike Bought this for my son age 10. Fits him perfectly, great spec. Excellent bike for the price. Would highly recommend.Date published: 2017-08-05Rated 5 out of 5 by Snaps from Great to get kids into cycling Bought this for my (smallish) 10 yr old & it fits him perfectly but with plenty of room for growth. It has quality components and the look & feel of a proper road bike. Very impressed with the spec & it's a good price. Perfect for my budding triathlete!Date published: 2017-07-13Rated 4 out of 5 by XYZ345 from Loves the bike My son (age 9) loves the bike and rides it the mile to school everyday. It certainly is very light and looks the part. He has spontaneously received several "nice bike" comments. So he is chuffed to bitsI. My only improvement would be to have the brake levers as well so that they are easy to reach in the upright position (if I am describing that correctly). I think my son thinks it is just perfect and is very proud.Date published: 2017-07-11Rated 5 out of 5 by Reynard78 from Ideal Road Bike for the Shorter Lady Being a shorter lady, finding a bike that fits is easier said than done - even the smallest ladies' frames are often too big. When I decided to take the plunge and buy my first road bike (I've always ridden MTBs before), it ended up being a straight choice between this and the Triban 500. After having tried out both, it was an easy decision to go for the Wiggo. I've done about 70 miles on it so far and am thoroughly enjoying the riding experience - here's to many more pleasurable miles. Have removed the toe clips however, as I'm used to riding without.Date published: 2016-12-09Rated 5 out of 5 by Plimmer01 from Cracking bike I've just collected one of these as an Xmas present for my 8 year old daughter. Having looked at the other options (Islabike, Hoy, Dawes) I plumped for this as there seemed to little between them and this (with a 10% discount I found online) came in at far less than the others at £283. I was a bit concerned I'd made a mistake but on collecting it I must say I was delighted. A lovely bike, frame is funky and clearly well made. I was also impressed by how light it was, being used to the usual weight of kids bikes. Can't wait for Christmas day! I've been a serious road cyclist since childhood so like to think I know a thing or two about bikes and I must admit to a bit of bike envy, not sure I'll fit on it though! £15 of free accessories was a lovely bonus as well....Date published: 2016-12-02
