The Assist Hybrid Electric Bike - 20" Wheel is the perfect commuting companion. With just one turn on the pedals you will be able to ride up hills and against the strongest winds, like they did not even exist. The bike has a 12 point pick up that means the motor is more sensitive to the turn of the pedals and will kick the power in quicker.

Depending on the terrain and the rider’s weight you can travel up to an average range 10-15 miles (max 20 miles)*  on one charge and only charge back up in 2-3 hours. Also, there is a walking mode feature that will help you push the bike up a path or if its fully loaded with shopping. When it comes to hop on hop off city traveling, the Assist is the perfect bike. Rest assured, this model also comes with a 2-year warranty on all electrical components.
 
Battery:
A reliable 4.8Ah battery with a range of, on an average, 10-15 miles (max 20 miles)* per charge, the Assist is a great entry level Electric Bike for those leisurely rides or small commutes.
 
Range*:
All electric bikes indicate a maximum mileage range that they can cover on a single battery charge. This is the furthest range in ideal conditions; however, this range can be impacted by a number of factors:

• The combined weight of the rider and any luggage.
• The assistance mode selected.
• The cycling route (e.g. type of terrain and inclines).
• Temperature and climate (e.g. cold weather will decrease the performance of the battery).
• Tyre pressure.
• Wind speed and direction.

NB. In the UK you must be over 14 years old to ride an electric bike but you won't need a licence, nor do you need to register it or pay vehicle tax.

Motor:
The Assist features a powerful 24V 250W front-hub electric motor, integrated into the front wheel assisting you of speeds of 15.5mph.
 
Sensor:
The system is equipped with a Speed sensor, which automatically turns the motor on once you begin pedalling and off when you stop pedalling.
