Locate the power steering fluid reservoir under the bonnet, usually marked for easy identification. Check the fluid level against the minimum and maximum indicators. If it’s low, top it up with the correct power steering fluid specified for your vehicle.
Is Power Steering Fluid the Same as Brake Fluid
No, power steering fluid and brake fluid are different and not interchangeable. Brake fluid is designed for high-pressure braking systems, while power steering fluid is formulated to lubricate and power the steering mechanism. Always use the recommended fluid type in your vehicle’s manual.
